13 January 2026What a year! 2025 has finally come to a close, and we have a lot to be thankful for — and a lot to say.
So, today, we’re doing what we’re sure everyone else will do on social media: an end-of-year recap of VoIP.ms’ highlights, new features, and achievements.
Whether you already know a little about us or are just getting started in your VoIP communication journey, this is a great opportunity to understand how we’ve grown in 2025 and how we plan to keep growing in 2026.
Let’s get started, shall we?
VoIP.ms Highlights of 2025
Here, you find every great thing we did to improve voice communications and make it indispensable for your business and growth:
Multi-Tenant Locations
We improved our Cloud-PBX offering by adding the much-awaited Multi-Tenant Locations.
This feature makes it easy to manage multiple client accounts or company locations. You can:
- Re-use extension numbers under different sub-accounts, according to locations.
- Create unlimited locations, link them to sub-accounts, and assign them extensions.
- Manage it all — for free! — from the Customer Portal.

What else, you ask?
- Multi-Account Support
- Secure Calls for iOS

VoIP.ms Joins WISPA
Reinforcing our commitment to wireless ISPs, VoIP.ms proudly joined WISPA, the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association, to support scalable, self-managed communication infrastructure for providers across North America.
We’ve also been present at many events to get to know you better. WISPALOOZA 2025, one of the most important events for resellers organized by WISPA, was one of them. But we’ve also been to:
- MSP Summit, in Orlando, FL
- 2025 Rev.io Summit, in Atlanta, GA
- Devolutions ITSEC 2025, in Saint-Hyacinthe, QC
- WISPAMERICA 2025, in Oklahoma City, OK
And more to come in 2026! Keep an eye on our social channels so we can meet at upcoming events.
New Features
It wouldn’t be us without new features being launched.
Email to SMS
If you’re going all in on the ‘using my phone less’ trend, this is a must-have feature to optimize business operations. Start SMS conversations from your email, without needing to receive a text first.
So whenever you remember an important message you need to send, all you have to do is open your email on one of your monitors and send it from there — no need to quit coding and get lost on your phone.

AI Call Summary and Call Sentiment
Call centers need a Call Transcription feature that just works, and, better yet, that adapts to a growing international market.
Our AI Transcription feature got a massive improvement this year, now offering Call Summary and Call Sentiment:
- Auto language detection (English, French, Spanish)
- Smarter PII redaction across supported languages
- Transcription summaries with highlights and action items
- Sentiment analysis for better call insights
Find everything you need to know about this in our Wiki Article.
New Interoperabilities
QueSee
Speaking of Call Centers, this year we completed interoperability testing with QueSee, an AI-powered call center dashboard, perfect for management.
Use our API to access call recordings and generate insights using AI:
- Analyze conversations for trends and customer sentiment.
- Monitor team performance.
- Improve customer experience using data-driven insights.

Poly
VoIP.ms also became fully compatible with Poly Lens in 2025, supporting Poly Edge B and Edge E series phones.
Our team has created detailed setup documentation to guide you through the provisioning process:
Vapi
AI was big in 2025 — and it promises to keep growing — so we are leaning into it, too. Vapi is a platform for building, testing, and deploying voice AI agents, providing the infrastructure you need to create custom voice assistants.
They can handle call operations for existing customer support, appointment booking, and sales calls, or be used to build new products using voice AI, like prior authorization and product onboarding assistants.

Security and Call Management
DNO Registry Tool
If you’re a reseller, then you know the importance of compliance. This year, VoIP.ms started offering a custom Do Not Originate (DNO) Registry, a complimentary tool that enables resellers to block Caller ID numbers that should never be used for outbound calls.
This will help you:
- Enhance call security.
- Reduce spoofing incidents.
- Align with FCC best practices.
Maintain your own DNO list by specifying numbers your network should never use for outbound Caller ID, with an easy-to-manage infrastructure that helps protect both your brand reputation and your customers.

Two-Step Email Verification
Also, in the security space, we recently announced our Two-Step Verification Email process, making account access even safer.
- Every time you log into your VoIP.ms account from a different location or device, you’ll get an email with a unique code.
- Use the code to complete your login and sign in to your account.
This code confirms your identity and helps prevent unauthorized access, even if your password is ever compromised. And what’s best: there’s no configuration needed. This is an automatic and automated process to ensure an extra layer of security.

What’s to come in 2026
You know what we did, let’s disclose a little about what’s to come.
Becoming SOC2 compliant
Part of our security efforts next year will be to become SOC 2 compliant.
If you have no idea what that means, here’s the summary: SOC2 is a security framework related to how companies handle data. Its goal is to protect customers from vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, and other security incidents.
It’s more than a title; it’s proof that we are doing heavy lifting to keep your accounts safe and your data secure.
New interface for our Customer Portal
Our Customer Portal is getting a revamp to make navigation easier. Adding the features your system needs will be as easy as getting your morning espresso.
Call Screening
In the age of AI, knowing there’s an actual human on the other side of the line when you’re trying to do business will be vital. Our Call Screening feature will do just that: send unknown callers to digital attendants to prove they aren’t bots or AI-generated.
AI Agents
Want to use AI LLM to greet customers and filter calls? Add them to your IVR feature or Call Routing? Soon, you’ll be able to.
And that’s only the beginning!
